Concerts on the Square

  • Location: Market Square, Downtown Knoxville, TN
  • Dates: Every Tuesday night, from May – August at 8 p.m.

Take a stroll downtown and enjoy some live music under the stars. Complete the night with dinner at one of the many amazing restaurants on market square.

Founders Park Lawn Chair Series

Concerts on the Commons

  • Location: Norris Commons, Norris, TN
  • Dates: Every Friday night from June 2 – July 21

Blount County

Pickin’ Porch Concerts

  • Location: Wood-N-Strings Dulcimer Shop, Townsend, TN
  • Dates: Every Saturday night from May through September at 7 p.m.

Louie Bluie Festival

  • Location: Cove Lake State Park, Caryville, TN

Named after the famous country-blues musician Howard Armstrong, this festival is is a fundraiser for the Campbell Culture Coalition.

Claiborne County

Art Extravaganza

  • Location: Artists Co-op, Cumberland Gap, TN

While primarily an arts and crafts festival, this free event will also feature an awesome 3 Dog Night cover band!

Cocke County

Rhythm on the River

Tomato Festival

Being one of the largest free festivals in East Tennessee, the Tomato Festival boasts a variety of musical acts, food and craft vendors, an art show, games, and more!

Hamblen County

Downtown Green Music Series

  • Location: Intersection of S. Henry St. and Morris Boulevard, Morristown, TN
  • Dates: 3rd Thursday of every month, from April – October, 2019

Enjoy a variety of fabulous and free entertainment throughout the season. There will also be food and alcohol vendors on site. Coolers are permitted, but outside alcohol is not allowed.

Jefferson County

Rockin’ The Creek

Loudon County

Music on the Water

  • Location: WindRiver Marina, Lenoir City, TN
  • Dates: June 8, July 3, & August 3, 2019

In addition to the awesome bands, there will also be food and drink available for purchase.

There is also a larger paid summer concert series in Loudon, the 2nd Saturday of each month. Tickets are $10/per person.

Roane County

Friday Nights on Roane

  • Location: N. Roane Street, Harriman, TN
  • Dates: 2nd Friday of each month, from May – October
  • Cost: FREE

The second Friday of each month bring out the family for some free live music. Food trucks and craft vendors will also be onsite.

Sevier County

Bloomin’ BBQ and Bluegrass

  • Location: Downtown Sevierville, TN
  • Dates: May 17 – 18, 2019 @

Enjoy a variety of bluegrass bands throughout the weekend. There is also a fabulous kids’ area, and food and craft vendors on site.

Smoky Mountain Tunes and Tales

  • Location: The Parkway, Downtown Gatlinburg

These nightly street performances incorporate music, storytelling, and dancing.

Ole Smoky Distillery

  • Location: Downtown Gatlinburg and Island at Pigeon forge

These free concerts are held at both of ole Smoky’s outdoor distillery locations (Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge).

Union County

Open Jam Sessions

  • Location: Rush Strong School, Sharps Chapel, TN
