This Christmas, grab your silliest holiday clothes and hit the town for a festive Knoxville Christmas 5k or fun run. You are free to walk or run at any of these family-friendly events, which means all fitness levels can get in on the action.
Knoxville Christmas 5k Fun Runs
1. Cove Lake Christmas Dash
December 7, 2024 @ 9 a.m.
110 Cove Lake Lane, Caryville
$12 – $23 Per Runner
Walk or run the Cove Lake Christmas Dash course in your quirky Christmas attire.
2. Light the Way 5K
November 8, 2024
Dollywood, Pigeon Forge
$52.40 per runner
Walk or run through the stunning Christmas lights display at Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas event.
Runners are permitted 2 laps around the park while walkers only get 1. Either way, you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the decor. Proceeds will benefit Knoxville Track Club.
3. Moon Run 5k
December 8, 2024 @ 5:30 p.m.
Victor Ashe Park, Knoxville
$38 per runner
Bring out your red and green glow sticks for a fun night of running for charity. The proceeds from these events go towards Wallace Memorial Curch’s Lottie Moon Christmas offering.
4. Reindeer Run
December 8, 2024 @ 12:30 p.m.
Maryville Greenbelt Amphitheater
$20-$33 Per Runner
This Reindeer run will have both a 5k and a 1-mile fun run. All runners will receive festive Christmas shirts and various prizes will be awarded.
5. Run Santa Run
December 8, 2024 @ 8 a.m.
Townsend Visitors Center
$45-$98
Run Santa Run racers can sign up for a 5K, 10K, or half marathon. Adorable race shirts are included with your registration. You can also add on costumes for an additional fee.
6. Jingle Bell Run
December 14, 2024 @ 9 a.m.
World’s Fair Park, Knoxville
$30-$45 Per Runner
This race benefits the Arthritis Foundation. Depending on the registration package you choose, you can get a t-shirt and a set of jingle bells.
7. Tennova Frosty 5K
December 14, 2024 @ 9 a.m.
Farragut Community Center
$33 Per Runner
The Frosty 5K benefits Tennova hospitals and includes an adorable race t-shirt.
8. Rockin’ Santa Half Marathon + Sunshine Santa 5K
December 14, 2024 @ 9 a.m.
Victor Ashe Park, Knoxville
$40-$98 Per Runner
Be sure to wear your Santa hat at this qualifying Christmas run. Racers can sign up for a 5K, half marathon, or a half marathon relay.
