Hit the town for a fun holiday celebration at one of these festive Christmas parades in Knoxville, TN. From marching bands to the decked-out floats, there may be no better place to find the Christmas spirit this season.

Knoxville Christmas Parades

1. Downtown Knoxville Christmas Parade by WIVK

December 1, 2023 @ 6:50 p.m.
Gay Street, Knoxville

This is the largest Christmas parade in Knoxville and one of the most anticipated events of the season. Local shops and restaurants will be open late so you can finish your shopping and grab a bite to eat before the parade.

2. Rocky Hill Christmas Parade & Festival

December 2, 2023 @ 3:30 p.m.
Rocky Hill Business District, Knoxville

This popular parade takes place around the Northshore area of Knoxville. In addition to the parade, there will also be live music, craft vendors, food trucks, and more.

There are also many restaurants nearby where you can grab a late lunch, dinner, or tasty dessert. Maybe one of Cinnaholic’s Christmas cinnamon rolls will hit the spot. Yum!

3. Tour De Lights

December 9, 2023 @ 5:30 p.m.
Mary Costa Plaza, Downtown Knoxville

This unique event is a lighted bike parade that is free for all to join or watch. The parade travels through Old City all the way over to Market Square.

4. Louisville Christmas Parade

November 26, 2023 @ 3 p.m.

The Louisville Christmas Parade will be followed by a tree-lighting ceremony.

5. Kingston Christmas Parade

November 27, 2023 @ 7 p.m.

6. Harriman Christmas Parade

This over-the-top Christmas parade is an East TN favorite. You make it a whole night of fun by driving through the Winterfest lights after the parade.

8. Sweetwater Christmas Parade

The Sweetwater Christmas Parade will follow its usual route from Mayes Avenue, left onto West North Street, and then it will turn right onto Hwy 11 South.

9. Newport Christmas Parade

A Griswold Kind of Christmas is the adorable theme of this fun daytime parade.

10. Blount County Christmas Parade

December 2, 2023 @ 11 a.m.
New Midland Plaza, Alcoa + Downtown Maryville

Blount County’s annual Christmas parade will run through Midland Plaza in Alcoa and continue on through to Downtown Maryville.

11. Sevierville Christmas Parade

December 2, 2023 @ 11 a.m.
Historic Downtown Sevierville

This is a traditional hometown Christmas parade in the heart of downtown Sevierville. Local shops and restaurants will also be open to help extend the fun.

This small-town Christmas festival and parade will have a wide variety of entertainment including kids’ activities, a tree lighting ceremony, craft vendors, carolers, a live nativity, food trucks, and much more!

This Lenoir City Christmas Parade will have some early performances before the main event. The pre-parade shows will begin at 6 p.m.

The theme for this year’s Oak Ridge Christmas Parade is “Sleigh Ride.”

23. Loudon County Christmas Parade

This fun and traditional Christmas parade will add a spark of magic to your holiday. Come early to visit the quaint shops of downtown Loudon, which is just a few short minutes away.

24. Madisonville

December 9, 2023 @ 7 p.m.
Downtown Madisonville

The parade route will begin at Madisonville Primary School.

25. Jefferson City’s Hometown Christmas Parade

December 9, 2023 @ 5 p.m.
Historic Mossy Creek District, Jefferson City

Before the Hometown Christmas Parade, you can shop at a variety of arts and crafts vendor booths. There will also be live entertainment, kids’ activities, food vendors, and giveaways.

The main festival begins at 12 p.m. The parade begins at 5 p.m.

26. Tellico Plains Christmas Parade

December 16, 2023 @ 3 p.m.

The Tellico Plains Christmas Parade will circle through downtown and the section of Cherohala Skyway in front of the Visitors Center. There will also be free cookies and hot cocoa for the Cookies n’ Claus festivities.

27. Dandridge Christmas Parade

December 23, 2023 @ 1 p.m.

This parade is hosted by the Dandridge Volunteer Fire Department. The route will run from Maury Middle School to Downtown Dandridge.
