Blooming Dates For Lavender Farms Near Chattanooga TN
Depending on the variety of lavender being grown, it can bloom anytime throughout the spring and summer. Many varieties also have a second smaller bloom in the fall.
Each farm below offers different varieties and many grow more than 1. Check with the farm before going to be sure their lavender is in bloom.
Lavender Fields Near Chattanooga
1. Lookout Lavender Farm
1039 North Moore Road Rising Fawn, GA
Approximate Travel Time From Downtown Chattanooga: 33 minutes
The fields at Lookout Lavender Farm open for u-cut flowers in early summer. In addition to the flowers, there is also an adorable farm store that is filled with homemade lavender decor and products.
If that’s not enough, the farm hosts Lavender 101, a popular educational class about growing lavender.
2. Saddle Creek Lavender
- 616 US-411, Ranger, GA
- Approximate Travel Time From Downtown Chattanooga: 1 hour and 14 minutes
Saddle Creek hosts family fun days where you can pick your own lavender, fish in their stocked pond, enjoy pony rides, and more!
3. Deep South Lavender Farm
- 24 Gaines Rd NW, Cartersville, GA
- Approximate Travel Time From Downtown Chattanooga: 1 hour and 14 minutes
This Deep South Lavender has over 2,000 lavender plants and makes a variety of homemade lavender products. It hosts several u-pick events during harvest season.
This adorable lavender farm is also in the same town as the Tellus Science Museum. Visit both attractions for a full day of fun!
4. Mulberry Lavender Farm and B&B
- 9 Back St, Mulberry, TN
- Approximate Travel Time From Downtown Chattanooga: 1 hour and 40 minutes
Even if you aren’t staying the night, visitors at Mulberry Lavender Farm are free to explore the organic lavender fields. There is also a lovely museum and country store featuring handmade lavender products.
To make the most of your drive, check out one of these other nearby attractions while you’re in town: Lynchburg Jack Daniel Distillery, Hundred Oaks Castle, or Tims Ford State Park.
5. Red Oak Lavender Farm
- 2882 Red Oak Flats Road, Dahlonega, GA
- Distance From Downtown Chattanooga: 2 hours and 14 minutes
Red Oak Lavender Farm, one of the most popular lavender farms near Chattanooga, offers way more than just lavender. It also has a wide array of u-pick flowers in bloom from spring through autumn.
U-cut lavender is only available from mid-April through early June.
If you are visiting in autumn, be sure to check out the farm’s unique Dahlia maze and adorable farm store with homemade made lavender products.
Visitors are encouraged to respectfully take pictures. Professional photographers are required to pay a booking fee.

6. MGM Lavender Farms
Located in north Knoxville

MGM lavender farm hosts u-pick lavender experiences, lavender growing classes, artist workshops, and photography sessions. Pre-registration is required for all farm visits.
7. Fair Winds Lavender Farm

- Approximate Travel Time From Downtown Chattanooga: 2 hours and 18 minutes
Fair Winds offers educational farm tours to teach the public about the lavender growing process. They also host DIY classes for making various lavender products.
In season, you can pre-register for a u-pick lavender session.

8. Southern Oak Lavender Farm

The lavender season at this gorgeous u-pick flower farm starts in June. But, many other flower varieties are available for u-cut throughout the spring and summer.
While visitors are allowed to take photos, professional photographers are required to pay a small fee.

9. Lavender Lamb Farm

Lavender Lamb Farm hosts u-pick lavender events and has an expansive farm store filled with homemade lavender goods.
This farm is also just 20 minutes from the famous Helen Georgia. Visit both attractions on the same day for an unforgettable day trip!
