Pops on The River
Pops on the River is typically the largest celebration in the area, so I’m sorry to say, the city has decided to cancel this event due to rising costs. They are also planning to cut costs next year too.
Will they ever change their mind? That probably depends on you.
If you want this event to come back in the future, you’re going to have to speak up about it. Call your reps and let them know. In the meantime, check out the other events below.

The city intends Fun on the 4th to be the replacement for Pops on the River. There will be no fireworks at this event.
Instead, the event will feature a variety of nostalgic July 4th fun including carnival games, vendors, music, food trucks, and more.
The night will culminate with a unique laser light show, which is supposed to be a cost-effective alternative to fireworks.
