Townsend Founders' Day Festival

This awesome new festival will celebrate the rich logging history of Townsend. The festival’s main event will be the 2017 Southeastern College and University Lumberjack Competition! Yes, a real lumberjack competition!  There will also be live music, walking tours, historical discussions, food vendors, woodworking demonstrations and more!
